We combine our advanced technology with your artistic flare to deliver products that reflect your vision.

Laser engraving technology utilizes a high-powered laser beam to permanently etch or mark an object. Creators widely use this method to design personalized gifts, home decor, and intricate patterns.

For our shop, we chose to begin with the xTool P3 80W Flagship CO2 laser cutter/engraver.

As we grow, we will look into other xTool offerings, such as the UV, the MOPA, and the Diode for an even larger array of cutting and engraving options.

For select materials that aren’t laser-safe, we also have a Cricut (Model: TBA), as well as a variety of standard woodshop tools.

A CO2 laser can engrave a wide variety of organic and non-metallic materials, including:

  • Wood & Wood Composites: Hardwoods, softwoods, plywood, MDF, and particle board

  • Plastics & Acrylics: Cast acrylic, extruded acrylic, laminated laser-engravable plastics, and rubber (such as for stamps)

  • Glass & Ceramics: Glassware, glass sheets, mirrors, glazed ceramic tiles, and terracotta

  • Stone & Minerals: Slate, granite, marble, basalt, and river rock

  • Paper & Cardboard: Cardstock, chipboard, corrugated cardboard, and paper products

  • Fabrics & Textiles: Cotton, denim, canvas, felt, fleece, and polyester

  • Leather & Synthetics: Genuine leather, suede, faux leather (PU leather), and microfiber

  • Coated Metals & Anodized Aluminum: Anodized aluminum, painted metals, and powder-coated metal items (the laser removes or burns away the surface coating)

There are a few reasons we can’t cut or engrave certain materials.

Chemical Hazards: We strictly cannot process materials containing PVC, vinyl (via laser), or certain synthetic leathers, as they produce hazardous chlorine gas or toxins that ruin equipment and endanger safety.  Similarly, some compound woods contain an unstable glue that release gasses and spray films back onto the laser and camera lenses.

Material Thickness & Density: While our lasers can handle engraving most materials, cutting is right out when it comes to extremely thick woods, metals, and most stone options.

Reflective or Structural Constraints: Certain highly reflective or structurally unstable chemical compositions simply cannot be safely handled by any of our cutting or engraving methods, without taking additional (often costly) precautions.

To bridge a few of these gaps, we utilize an array of non-laser manufacturing options—including a Cricut for precision vinyl, fabric, and paper cutting, and band saws and other traditional workshop tools for thick, dense materials.

A CO2 laser works by taking electricity, using it to excite gas molecules inside a glass tube, and focusing the resulting light into an invisible heat beam strong enough to cut or engrave materials.

Just like using a magnifying glass to focus sunlight onto a single spot, focusing the laser beam concentrates all its thermal energy into a tiny area—instantly melting, vaporizing, or burning through an array of laser-safe materials.

Yes, laser engraving is a permanent marking method. The laser removes material from the surface, creating a lasting impression that does not fade or wear off over time, making it ideal for items that require durability.

Absolutely! Customization is  the key benefit our service offers. You can provide your own designs, logos, or text, and our team will work with you to create a unique piece that meets your specifications and vision.

The turnaround time varies based on the complexity of the design and the quantity of items. Typically, it ranges from a few days to a couple of weeks, but we strive to meet your deadlines.

Materials arranged (by appointment) to be dropped off and picked up by the customer, rather than shipped, can often be processed in as little as an hour.
